Animals have always been an important part of my life, from the time I was three pushing around puppies in a baby carriage on our farm to all the dogs, cats, horses goats, etc I own today. I understand the meaning and fulfillment they bring whether they're pets or the wildlife we are so consistently fascinated by. It's why I began drawing them. I can't imagine life without animals playing a part in it and that has manifested greatly in my art. I continue to be driven to portray them well and find added fulfillment within that process.
