Commissioned Artwork

My goal in producing art for my clients is to create more than just a reproduced photo.  I aim to create a true piece of art based on the pet or wildlife you love.  I prioritize the expression in the eyes, the main details of the face (eg. the nose, ears and mouth) first and give the rest of the piece a mixture of painterly and realistic attention.  

WHAT YOU GET:

I create a detailed rendition of your pets or wildlife using alcohol markers, micron pens, acrylic markers, acrylic ink, and India inks.  My artwork is has incredible depth that has to be seen in person to be properly appreciated.   All artwork is created on acid-free smooth Bristol paper.  

PET PORTRAIT FAQs:

TIMESCALE: Commissions usually take 2-3 weeks (from the start date of the piece) to complete, depending on the size and number of pets/animals. If this portrait is needed for a special occasion, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate.  Please also note that the 50% deposit holds your place on my calendar and allows me to purchase materials for you project. 

ADVERTISING: Showcasing my work on social media is how I advertise my business.  If this commission is for a surprise present then I will of course wait until the commission has been gifted to post any images.

COPYRIGHT: Your commission will be an original piece of artwork and therefore I own the copyright on this piece. Making your own copies will therefore be an infringement of copyright.  I may use your image to advertise my business, but I will not make prints to sell.

I strongly suggest you display original art out of direct sunlight and behind UV protected glass.
